Our Mission
Based in Richmond, CA, Ballet Folklorico de Ricardo Velazquez was founded by his director Ricardo Velazquez in 2024. Our mission is to preserve and promote the rich tradition of Mexican folklore dance through authentic performances and comprehensive training. We are dedicated to instilling a deep appreciation for the cultural heritage and artistic expression embodied in each dance movement.
